Overview

The article is a shootout between the big-bore MX bikes for 84. The KTM doesn't do too well and is generally viewed as being inferior to the previous years. The engine is considered week at the top end of the range (which is why I've got an 83 head!).

Conclusion

The Yamaha is rated top MX bike, the M-Star (Maico) gets second place, Honda third and Suzuki, KTM and Husky fill out the bottom. The KTM looses out on the track because its too tall, too long and more at home in open spaces.
